About the Wine

 

This Tinta de Toro aims to showcase the characteristics of Tempranillo that has genetically modified over centuries of adapting to the sandy loam soils and extreme Atlantic climate of D.O. Toro. Made from all estate grapes from from owner Ulpiano Gonzalez and Camino Pardo's vineyard in D.O. Toro in northwestern Spain in the region of Castile y Leon, this Tinta de Toro is its own, unique character and distinctly D.O. Toro.  A richer, smokier Tempranillo with a lingering finish.

Elaboration: Fermented for 5 days in stainless steel tanks and aged for 4 months in 100% French oak

 

Tasting Notes

 

Intense and clean red fruit aromas of strawberry, with hints of raspberry and blackberry. High roasts, vanilla and coconut flavors are also present. Aged in French Oak for four months.  Well-integrated tannins together with just the right acidity give the wine elegance, roundness and balance. red fruit prevails with a long and pleasant finish.
