CASA MARGUERY MALBEC

About the Wine

Guillermo enthusiastically describes his "Casa" cuvee as a "shock of color and flavor from pure Malbec". We couldn't agree more. His San Carlos grapes provide the wine with juicy black fruit flavors, while his La Consulta grapes offer structure and minerality.

Varietal: Malbec

Wine Type: Red Wine

Origin: Argentina

Appellation: Luján de Cuyo (Vistalba) and San Carlos (Altamira), Mendoza

Tasting Notes

Standout blackberry notes on the nose, which continue on the palate, with a beautiful rustic character that is more European than Argentine. Excellent structure, with great acidity and some of the most pleasant tannins we've ever tasted. An authentic wine at a terrific price, great with anything from steak to pizza!
