Acorn Rosato

About the Wine

Acorn Winery is a small sustainable winery in Russian River Valley, California, owned and operated by Betsey & Bill Nachbaur. Their goal is to produce traditional field-blends (where grapes are interplanted, harvested, and co-fermented together), creating approachable, food-friendly wines made in the old-world style. This Rosato is made from seven different varieties, picked over four different days. This is an elegant light red wine you’ve just got to try. Smooth, refreshing and not sweet, and perfect for Hawaii weather. Like springtime in a glass.

Tasting Notes

An alluring pale cherry hue and enticing aromas of strawberry, watermelon, and floral notes present a delightfully appealing wine. The refreshing, dry plaate offers bright Queen Anne cherry and melon flavors, with the vibrant acidity and a creamy texture enhance and retain the flavors into a lengthy finish. Try it with prosciutto and melon, or grill a salmon. A wonderful accompaniment to your meals year round.
