About the Wine:

 

This outstanding Bonarda is elaborated from a special selection of vines that are over 40 years old. Bonarda was once a very popular wine making a comeback.  This Bonarda is a memorable wine with good structure, balanced tannins, and delicate toasted aromas from the oak barrels in which it was aged for 16 months.  A fantastic dinner wine.

 

Varietal: Bonarda

Origin: Argentina | Appellation: 50% Ugarteche, 50% Agrelo

Elaboration: Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts during 25 days at temperaturas between 27º y 29ºC. Malolactic fermentation 100% spontaneous in oak during 20 days at 22ºC.

 

Tasting Notes:

 

Vibrant red color, with blue hints. It is buttery in mouth and it taste like strawberry jam which it can also be found in the aromas.
