Alberti 154 Malbec

About the Wine

For this vintage Bodega Calle had access to old vine Perdriel fruit, which offers up rich mocha and plum notes. A small amount of young fruit from La Consulta provides structure and tannin, while limited oak influence keeps the wine bright and fruity.  This is considered a “light” Malbec, almost like a Pinot Noir, making it easy to drink with that Malbec flavor but without that strong spicy finish.  Available both in small and large bottles.  We cannot think of a better everyday "house" Malbec!  This wine is available in both full size bottles and splits.
