Hawley Sauvignon Blanc

About the Wine

With over 25 years of experience, including ten as founding winemaker at Clos du Bois and six as chief winemaker for Kendall-Jackson, John Hawley demonstrates a level of expertise that is hard to match in the industry. Paul and Austin Hawley (John's sons) are apprentice winemakers and bring their own talents to the winery.

Tasting Notes

2013 marks the 5th vintage of Sauvignon Blanc for the Hawley Brothers. We continued using techniques that Paul learned while working harvest in New Zealand to produce our favorite style of Sauvignon Blanc: crisp, clean and fruity. The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is a complex mélange of grassiness, minerality, fig, and apple that follows through to the palate with flavors of green apple and tangelo. Drink now, preferably on a warm fall evening.
