About the Wine:

Uncluttered by excessive oak, Fabre Montmayou's Reserva Malbec is one of the purest expressions of the grape one can find in Argentina. The wine is sourced from estate grown old vines (all a minimum of 50 years old) and packed with the heady, dense aromas and flavors that make this terroir so special.  This is truly a smooth, rich Malbec without the big peppery finish.

Varietal: Malbec

Origin: Argentina | Appellation: Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza

Elaboration: Hand picked estate grown fruit harvested from March 27th - April 14th. Native yeast fermentation. 40% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes:

Deep red color with violet tones. Very intense bouquet with notes of sappy cherry, currant, and baking spice. More red fruits fill the palate and the wine finishes with impeccable balance and silky tannins.
