Tierras Guindas Ribera Del Duero Tempranillo

About the Wine

Having been adapted to the loamy soils and continental climate of D.O. Ribera del Duero for centuries, this regional "version" of Tempranillo is considered its own, unique variety. Also called Tinta Fina by locals, this Tinta del Pais (Red of the Country) is D.O. Ribera del Duero's flagship wine. Speaking to the D.O. characteristics of each vineyard property, winemaker Juan Martin Hinojal believes the "quality of the soil, rich in rocks and stones trapping the heat and acting as a thermostat, provides the possibility to produce wine with an outstanding quality and a characteristic personality
